We are delighted to share that Laura Gagliardi, Director of the Catalyst Design for Decarbonization Center (CD4DC), has been awarded the 2027 Henry H. Storch Award in Energy Chemistry by the American Chemical Society. The award recognizes her pioneering contributions to theoretical and computational chemistry and their application to catalyst design, carbon capture, energy-relevant materials, and the global energy transition.
Through her research and leadership of CD4DC, Laura has advanced the computational design of catalysts and materials to address critical challenges in decarbonization and sustainable energy. This recognition celebrates her contributions to the field and the collaborative efforts of the students, postdocs, researchers, and collaborators who have been part of this work.
